Thiago is a USAT Level 1 coach with over 20+ years of experience as a runner and triathlete. His main goal is to provide a well balance individualized program to each athlete, apply and share his race and training experience, in order to accomplish consistent and long-lasting results.
Thiago was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he started running at a young age influenced by his father; he got an opportunity to move to the US to attend a private NAIA college in Missouri where he joined the Cross-Country and Track and Field team. During his college career he achieved 4 x All-American status on the indoor and outdoor Track and Field. After graduating with a BS in Finance and Accounting, he kept his passion for the endurance sports and levitate towards the longer distance events in road running and triathlons. He had competed in all distance and terranes from sprints to ironman, 5k to marathons, in international and local level events; being a four-time Kona qualifier, running in the Boston marathon in multiple occasions, and multiple top finishes in local events.
